about

'Quid (Reprise)' was recorded live at The Forum Music Centre Studio in Darlington by Winter Jargon.

Point of Interest: 'Quid (Reprise)' is the second of three versions which make up the Quid song trilogy.

Quid (Reprise) is entirely instrumental and uses the clarinet as it's lead instrument. It was recorded live at the studio in one take and with no overdubs. Both Rachel and Tim can be heard speaking and laughing on the track.
'Quid (Reprise)' was often played as an introduction to 'Quid (Just Like Ophelia)' at gigs and it so it seemed fitting to keep it in it's live and improvisational form on the album itself.

Placing 'Quid (Reprise) in the middle of the album came about after a conceptual suggestion from Alex (long time friend of Winter Jargon) that the track could be used as an 'intermission/interval' to divide the album into two halves.

Rachel's teachers at school frequently used the line of reasoning that the clarinet 'wasn't really a solo instrument' in response to Rachel's reluctance to attend the school's wind and brass band. Hence, this track is dedicated to the music teachers of Sedgefield Community College.

Quid (Reprise) is dedicated to the music teachers of Sedgefield Community College in response to the comments they made regarding 'clarinets' not being 'solo instruments.' Feel free to take this with a grain of salt.

"What You Are" is really a killer song, with its thunder-rolling chorus, tension and explosive guitar solo. The singer's voice and guitar chops rival those of the early Matt Bellamy." - Online Source less
