about

'Goodbye' was recorded at The Forum Music Centre Studio in Darlington by Winter Jargon.

Point of Interest: 'Goodbye' - unsurprisingly - is about departure. The three part harmonies which introduce the song were taken directly from the bridge and added in afterwards to accompany the guitar feedback in the opening 10 seconds. Tim used his own bassline in the bridge section of the song.

lyrics

"I am Jeckle and i am Hyde.
Your tortured flock i can't abide.
I am Hyde and I am Jeckle.
Murder my esteem. Taunt and heckle.
Your mistreatment i can't abide.
So i am leaving now... goodbye.

(Good riddance)

Attention span is like a fish memory.
I swear, sometimes I feel like I am ten.
Sometimes I feel my world is ending all over again.

I trusted those beautiful birds with my life.
They were vultures all along.
Can you sense the hurt which lingers on my skin?"

about

Winter Jargon play alternative rock with hints of grunge, indie, gypsy, punk-cabaret, dark-cabaret and acoustic musical ... more styles...

"They're just plain weird..." - Alan Robson, Metro Radio

"What You Are" is really a killer song, with its thunder-rolling chorus, tension and explosive guitar solo. The singer's voice and guitar chops rival those of the early Matt Bellamy." - Online Source less
